<p><strong>SAFFRON WALDEN SPEED NETWORKING &#8211; SPERATE EVENT</strong></p>
<p>After the Saffron Walden Exhibition &amp; Speed Networking last year, you told us you would rather the events were separate – so that is exactly what we have done this year! The Saffron Walden Speed Networking event will be on Wednesday 21st March 2012 at the 8 Bells, from 4.30pm – 6.40pm. It will be £15+VAT to attend. </p>
<p>A Speed Networking event is an informal but highly focused 2 hours in which you connect with everyone present &#8211; typically more than 15 businesses &#8211; in structured, face to face, one to one, micro-meetings lasting 4 minutes each. Without sacrificing the enjoyment of networking, you gain maximum productivity from the time you invest at low cost. There&#8217;s none of the awkwardness of open networking and none of the financial or attendance commitment demanded by membership clubs &#8211; just straightforward, relaxed, down to earth B2B.</p>
<p>This is a great opportunity for owners and directors of business in Saffron Walden to meet everyone in the room, in a non-pressure environment, and a chance to meet people before the exhibition in June. <p>SR Events helped to raise money for a number of charities this Christmas: St Clare Hospice through the Professionals and the Harlow Chamber, the Variety Club through a networking lunch for 1000 people, the Three Little Miracles fund through a black tie dinner and Action Medical Research though a networking lunch! We would like to thank everyone who donated for these excellent causes.</p>
<p>Charity networking balls and lunches are a great way for corporate clients to give something back to the community, fitting in with many CSR policies. It was also provide a valuable platform for clients to socialise with their clients and colleagues in a relaxed setting.</p>

<p>Over 40 visitors and exhibitors enjoyed the speed networking breakfast. Attendees enjoyed a great range business seminars, kindly organised by our sponsor Charter House accountants; and also enjoyed some fantastic creative seminars from local businesses.  </p>
<p>The exhibitors enjoyed a drinks reception after the events, and thanks to a number of local companies generosity, we raised a fantastic £1,300 for our charity, The Walk Centre!</p>
